Colors too strong? Too Green, Blue, Teal, etc? Try using different LUTs.
Main Post:
Starfield lacks proper HDR support among other things and the colors just look way off. If you reduce the strength of the LUTs the colors much better. You can also further tweak the colors if you have a Nvidia video card using Nvidia filters (Alt +F3) if you have GeForce Experience installed.
Quite a few people asked how to install these, so I made a video showing before/after and how to install.

It's just a LUT pack, not a mod that could disable your achievements. It also doesn't require Reshade and will have no negative impact on your performance since they are just LUT files.
OriginalSGS's LUTs come in varying strengths, from 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%. On my setup, 50% looks best.
SGS's LUTs - Enhanced Color Grading and Black Levels at Starfield - Nexus Mods
50%Or completely get rid of them using this one by fadingsignal.
Neutral LUTs - No Color Filters at Starfield - Nexus Mods

I wish I could get the NVIDIA game filters to work, all I see is image sharpening. I even tried the allow third party software command

Jim Green African Ranger Boots Review
Main Post:
I finally got them today - Brown African Ranger boots
Jim Green boxMy initial thought about these boots, first-day usage review. It’s not a long-term review, sure, but hope this will help to decide for those on the fence.
African Ranger BootsI saw a lot of Jim Green reviews, and most of the people write or say that they are ugly. I think that they are extremely beautiful!
Brown boots from Jim GreenMy size is 41 EU (7.5 EU or 8.5 US) and have a relatively wide foot, so every 41 shoe or boot is to narrow for me and the 42 is too long. Between sizes. Also, I have a slightly different foots (right vs left).
So here I am - found a perfect size boot - the 8.5 (US) is the exact size in length what I need and the width - is perfect.
It feels great on my foot, and it seems that there is no braking period ahead, which is great for me (I suffer with every new boot while braking them.)
The green laces are good, not too long, not too short. Exact length and its cool.
Green Laces are coolThe insole is hard and simple but this is how I like it - to keep things simple.
The sole - is pretty comfy, but a little bit weird, after using Blundstone and Redback whole year - it’s like you feel every small stone, gravel or slot that your foot is on. It’s not too thin, and you feel comfortable and protected, but that’s weird to feel that way.
The sole looks like a little bit rounded and not flat.
African Ranger boots sole & insoleAnyway - I think that this is a great boot for the money, but the sole of the Blundstone is more solid for me at this stage (one day review, huh).
The only serious issue I have with African Ranger boots is that they slip on a smooth wet surface and they shouldn’t!
I double checked this - they slip, while Blundstone and Redback don’t!
So I don’t know what to do actually. These boots are my perfect fit and size, comfy out of the box, but slippery. I can imagine me sliding all the way on every wet floor...
So my thoughts are: return them via Amazon or send them to a Cobbler and replace the sole with something more aggressive for wet adventures.
Will update soon

UPDATE 2:
Giving them a chance
Will wait few days to see if the sole's rubber will be more grippy, thanks u/Julege1989
If not, plan B - scrub the soles, thanks u/AxednAnswered
If won't help - well, maybe resole is an option, but probably will need to order from the company, so they will fit, right?

UPDATE 3:
The soles of the American Ranger boots became much more grippier, after few days of usage, u/Julege1989 were right in his/her comment.
I feel there is a braking period ahead - they are still not wide enough.
Simple solution for high foot/feet to have more room:
Skip the last hookThe insoles are hard AF, so will try to replace them with something softer
They are absolutely heavy, like 30-50% heavier than Blundstone 587 (will check and update the exact difference later)
Overall - they look gorgeous but not the comfortable boots in the hood. I am curious about this feeling after braking them bit more.
Top Comment: For the price, it may be worth getting a better sole on them from a cobbler
Avocado Green Mattress (Queen): 5 Year Review
Main Post:
Info:
- Purchased for $1249 in July 2017
- Owned and used nightly for almost 5 years.
- I'm 6'0", 135 lbs
- I sleep on side, stomach, and back almost equally
- Not using any toppers or foundation (besides the actual bed frame)
Initial unpacking took maybe 10 minutes. The time until we used it was accouple of days. The off-gassing was pretty nasty; had to open the windows and run a fan for several hours at it was quite an unpleasant smell. The mattress sprung up to shape in just a few hours.
This mattress is pretty damn good. After 5 years it hasn't really sagged at all. It does feel pretty cool, which is important here in Florida. The thing is definitely closer on the firm side than on plush, but only barely. It's pretty good at not transferring movement (when I get in bed late), and never feels like we're "sinking" into the mattress.
Edge support is okay, but nothing like a traditional mattress. I'd say it's as good as it needs to be. We're moving to a king size mattress soon, and may go with the same thing, it's just extremely expensive compared to other brands. No complaints besides the price and initial off-gassing.
Top Comment: Thanks for the review... I hope more people choose to write reviews after 3+ years with their mattresses since we don't get reviews like this anywhere else... Also, 135 lbs and 6'0"?! Whoa, you are lanky...
